Téléphoner gratuitement en empruntant les tuyaux d'Internet. C'est possible, si les deux interlocuteurs ont installé ce logiciel sur leur ordinateur et disposent chacun d'un micro. Mais ce n'est pas nouveau.


Téléphoner gratuitement, tout le monde en rêve. Skype permet de converser avec un correspondant à l'autre bout du monde en empruntant les tuyaux d'Internet. Au préalable, les deux interlocuteurs doivent installer le logiciel sur leur ordinateur, s'enregistrer auprès de Skype et s'équiper d'un microphone. Le logiciel fonctionne comme les messageries instantanées : une fois la liste de correspondants établie, une icône de couleur indique les personnes connectées.

La nouvelle version du logiciel de téléphonie gratuite sur Internet qui utilise la voix sur IP : Skype. Estampillée 0.97.0.1, cette version supporte désormais la téléconférence avec un maximum de 5 participants, ce qui peut être pratique pour organiser par exemple des réunions à distance sans passer par le biais du téléphone classique qui facture ce service. Elle permet également à un utilisateur d'entretenir jusqu'à 16 appels en même temps.

Plus pratique à utiliser que Netmeeting, qui nécessite l'échange des adresses IP des deux ordinateurs, Skype, pour le moment, n'apporte rien de nouveau par rapport à MSN Messenger ou Yahoo ! Messenger. Mais les futures versions de Skype devraient permettre d'appeler un téléphone fixe. Dans ce cas, il est probable que sa gratuité tombe en même temps...

Bonjour tt le monde ,
Moi j utilise skype depuis un moment deja, car pour raison inconnue je n arrive pas à converser avec ma cop, donc j ai du utiliser skype qui je le confirme un tres bon logiciel de discussion, on peut aussi chatter mais ca reste limite dans sa conception, par contre je ne savais pas que l on pouvait faire faire des discussion a plusieurs personne, c'est à voir car la seul différence avec msn messenger.
