What size of a wad texture don't drop the fps?
What is the "default size" to use?
In some bsp maps are lot of places with 30 fps drop texture. I want full 60 to all map.
Its more the number of brushes in an area than the texture that makes the FPS low, but the scale of the tetxure can help reduce the w_poly count take a look here.

start CS
open console and type map followed by the map name eg
map cs_747type gl_wireframe 1 to show the polys
Click to view attachmenttype gl_wireframe 2 to show all the polys

type r_speed 1 to show the number of polys being drawn
