"I was recently contacted by a GameBanana member [acolyte to jippity], who along with other members of Drexel University in Philidelphia are going to undertake a mammoth 24 hour LAN session in aid of charity.

The event will be held this Saturday and be streamed across the web. The guys are hoping to raise $1,000 for the Children's Miracle Network Hospital and have asked me to post a message to help spread the word.

So far they have reached just under $300 of their target and would be grateful if any of you kind soles could dig into your pockets and help out your fellow bananite and this great cause.

These kids are facing scary stuff like cancer & cystic fibrosis and any donations are tax-deductible so ALL PROCEEDS go to help kids.
