I don't speak French, so I am posting this here.

I have downloaded a bunch of CS1.6 maps from your site. Most of them work great and we now have a number of new maps in our regular rotation that our members and friends love playing. The problem is that a few of the maps refuse to work properly for fast download. I can place all of the files in all of the correct directories on our fast DL server, but for some reason some of the files (it's usually the .bsp file) will only download from the game server. I have tried adding the map name to the list in the .res file, but that does not help. Any suggestions?

Have you tried to "bz2" your bsp files on your fastdl server?
Ron Obvious
No. Can I compress selected files or do I have to compress the entire cstrike directory on the fast DL server?
Chapo
First, try with only some bsp.

For faster upload, you can use our ftpinstall tool and select "bz2" option wink.gif

Thank you. I will try that.

Love your site, by the way. My friend Berries turned me on to it and now I always come here first when I'm looking for new maps.

Happy to see that 17b is loved by US members (wich are more often FPSB's fans wink.gif )

Well, I tried it with cs_bassora_32 and it didn't work. Does anyone else have problems with that map? It refuses to download from our fast DL server. We have had the same problem with a few other maps, but if I can make that one work, I will try the others again.

Perhaps you should try to make a .res file and upload it on your server.

Use our tool HLBox17b in order to create res file and tell us if it works wink.gif

I have not tried your tool yet, but I already have .res files for the offending maps. All of the correct files are downloaded, it's just that some of the files won't download from the correct server. Even when I add the .bsp file to the .res list, it is only downloaded from the game server. Could there possibly be something encoded in the map file that makes it resistant to being downloaded from the web server?
