Greetings everyone!
Firstly, Good news! We are glad to announce that we found someone willing to host and manage technically 17B as long as possible. Thanks to Elfik72, the hosting is not going be an issue for a very long time. The new server is already ready and can be accessed via a new domain name as well: 17buddies.rocks. Additionally, as long the previous server is running, a redirection from .net to .rocks is effective from this moment. Please note that you might experience bugs due to the server using recent softwares. Don't hesitate to report them. Secondly, now the hosting is secured, we are looking for people to manage 17B itself. While the website and forum can probably run without anyone, that would be welcomed to have people around. In others words, we would wish to see people taking over this community project and Making It Great Again. Whatever you are interested in reviving the community, fixing bugs, improving the website, moderating and such, let us know. Oh man! Sad to see 17buddies struggling to survive! On the other hand I'm glad to see people giving hope and dedicate their work / time and financial resources to keep 17buddies where is suppose to be. Stay strong 17buddies! Live long!

The custom DNS on 17buddies.net have likely expired, but unfortunately, we have no control over the domain (this includes Chapo). Will try to see if it's possible to renew those custom DNS, Pizza should have still access to them.

I am Allen Howe, clanlod.net -=[LOD]=-OldN@der. I don't have a huge amount of free time but if there isn't too much time needed, I may be interested in administrating 17"s buddies.
I began playing sc before it was an Internet game, only LAN. We set up redcsclan@yahoo group and in 1998 we had 150+ members around the world. https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/redcsclan/info I am strictly a 1.6 fan, clanlod.net and it is my goal to keep 1.6 alive and offer a family environment for 1.6 gaming. Our public server is lod.game.nfoservers.com:27015. We also have a xcrim server and are looking for new members. Note: all full members have most admin privileges.
