How Can I Update The Old Map With A New Version? Options

I uploaded a map but I want to update it with a new fixed version. How can I do that? Or can I somehow delete the old map?

Well, it's not my cup of tea if the side still provides outdated versions of maps.

The author updated this map some time ago to provide a custom sky texture.
This sky texture is already provided within the download but since the bsp file is still the old one,
players won't see the new sky texture ingame.

If you're annoyed about people asking for updates, why not update reuploaded maps automatically?

When you update/edit a map it should be uploaded with a different name (unless its only an entity change) , this prevents anyone who has the old map getting kicked with "your map differs from the servers error". (IMG:style_emoticons/default/nono.gif) If you look around you will see loads of maps with b1 b2 v1 v2 ect... and thats the reason why.

I would ask the creator to do what every other mapper does and rename CS_GABBA.bsp to CS_GABBA_v1.bsp or CS_GABBA_b1.bsp and there will be no problems. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bye.gif)
