So I was thinking.... since cs 1.6 is falling under shadows because of CS Source and lately to CS Global Offensive, why not we gather (us mappers) to recreate CS 1.6 official maps but in other styles. I know it sounds weird... but... I was thinking about the quality of the maps. Ex. de_nuke something like a big house near a river, de_dust like a living village, cs_office maybe like a factory, de_inferno like a spanish city, de italy like a real ital city with real plazza and such.. train like a real train station... not the basic layout like those... but original maps... What do you say guys...?

We have some good mappers around here so shouldn't be a problem. Well I don't see myself as a manager here, maybe more like a mapper in this project. I agree with you S3B, not all maps. I was thinking: de_dust2, de_nuke, de_train, de_inferno, de_aztec, de_cbble (and maybe others, italy, vegas, etc.) For the moeler idk... and I don't know anyone that models. About the amout of time dedicated to maps, maybe 2-3 months per map is more than enough. For the name and name of maps we can figure them out on time. P.S. YAY to my 100'th post!
