There are different versions of zhlt.wad online... please provide the one you'd like us to use or allow us to have our own 'special' .wad file with these textures. I've made my own and named it compile.wad and it contains textures like NULL, CLIP and AAATRIGGER.

That troubles me a lot, I usually sign my map, with an image (wad) "Map by Max (von A) ... etc", that image is a wadinclude, that hidden somewhere in the map, however if not allow wadinclude, how I can sign my map?
Again I deeply thank you for remembering 17buddies mappers we like counter-strike 1.6, see here many acquaintances, as my friend Tatu Eugen and other mappers whose maps I played many times in my server. We played yesterday your map Tizu: awp_darkcrypt (not knowing that you are one of the participants) and your map awp_dreamsereves was on several occasions in our 3on3 tournament (like any other Tatu's maps).

Quite the contrary.
I think limiting the use of external wads and forcing the use of one wad forces mappers to show imagination and creativity to stand out from other competitors.
Anyone (even me.. ) can make a free map. Making a map with forced wads is much more complicated.
This increases the complexity and level of competition. The resulting map will necessarily be a great map especially with the very high level of registered mappers.

Admins: make decisions about the wad's soon. If you let everyone submit custom textures, you might as well allow custom .wad's in general. What's the point of moving textures out of a custom .wad, submitting it here to be finally added in the 17b .wad?
Also, please note that there's a HUGE difference between the workload of the following gametypes:
Defuse - requires a good, well tested layout, would require lots of debugging as well.
Hostage Rescue - same as defuse.
Fight Yard - most of the time, this is a small map. Most of the time it's a symmetrical map. Requires far less effort than de/cs.
Gungame - same as fy.
Aim map - same as fy.
What I mean is that de/cs should already be in favor above the other gametypes, so consider leaving these out or have gametypes that are about the same effort to make.
We know that fy/gg/aim maps are easier to create.The mappers who choose fy/aim/gg maps must create a beautiful map, with excellent gameplay, etc...

There are two types of polygons in half life:
1- wpolys (world polygons)
2- epolys (entity polygons)
Wpolys are assigned to the "square" that the HL engine divides the map. (not the number of squares that is built)
Epolys polygons are assigned to entities. (Model's, guns etc etc)
The command "r_speeds 1" serves to tell you the amount of polygons per second that the engine of half life is to draw (render speeds).
The plates are able to draw 3d x polygons per second.
When a map of r_speeds logically abused (polygons), the plates do not come 3d, and noticed the lag (sobs).
Now the Epolys Wpolys and measured with the command above. You should write to the console counter-strike:
sv_cheats 1
r_speeds 1
Values appear in the console, you must traverse all areas of your map and be antentos to the values that mark (wPoly in this case).
Formerly, graphics cards not tolerate Wpolys read over 1200, this occurred because the information Lag took more milliseconds to process, but ... formerly.
In 2012 the new 3D accelerator graphics cards, this command is useful but not as important as it was before (in 2006 when it launched the cs 1.6).
The need to reduce wpolys comes from the need to professionalize the map, reduce information processing time and therefore give you more gameplay.

As far as there are no custom textures, most time will be spent in "mapping". Modelling the .mdl doesn't take much time, so.. i think, there is no problem, let them participate. I want to clarify that I save the RMF. in another external hard drive, but I could not open the RMF because it gives me an error (as if he had "broken") and forces me to close the editable (RMF).

Upload your map on 17b like any other map. For example, you can call it xx_17buddies_yyy (xx = de,fy,cs,..) and yyy you map name.

Yes, if you use ONLY 17bsolstice and standard textures.
We will check in bsp file for included textures and if a non allowed texture is found (other than mapper's banner) map will be disqualified.

Hey there 17Buddies
for your next contests (I hope there will be a lot ) you might also consider promoting your mapping competition on thewall.de, which is a quite popular German mapping community.
By spreading the news on thewall.de you would probably reach most of the German map developers, which would most likely increase the number of participants and conesquently the number of entries.
I ,for myself, only found out about this contest due to S3B's example map, which i saw on gamebanana.com and therefore I sadly wasn't able to join earlier
Now enough of my advertisment for thewall.de , let the judging begin and might the best entry win (which will be most likely warri's de_kassai xD).
Nevertheless good luck to everyone else, sadly there are just so few entries
