Hi, I go by the nickname Hamburglar and I'm the author of many surf maps that can be found here in 17buddies. First of all, thanks for maintaining what has probably become the biggest 1.6 map database today, even gamebanana got wiped and 17b still got its uploads from 200x.
So, I've noticed that Cupe has been uploading the latest additions from the Surf Gateway 1.6 server and one of these was my surf_xmas_b2 map.
I don't mind my maps being uploaded in beta version (we know that many maps never get past beta), but since this xmas_b2 in particular was bugged and unplayable past a certain level, I wanted to request the removal of it's entry:

It should be noted that it is an earlier version of surf_festive_b1 which is also uploaded here.
If the admin is willing to, I also wanted to use this thread as a channel to request the removal of other _beta uploads every time one of the projects is finished - namely, citadel, concrete_maze, floathub, hyperweng and festive itself, along with other maps that I'll start putting up for testing later.

We have a feature that allow authors and members to update versions.
I have done it with your map. Now when you click on beta download, a message tells you that a more recent version exists...
Just take a look at the toolbar #16 here

You just have to click on the « version » icon and follow instructions.
