My problem: We would like to add a certain map (http://www.17buddies.net/17b2/View/Map/12277/de_dolls.html) to our CSS server but we would like to make a minor change on it. It`s just pictures on the wall, nothing more. I know that decompiling somebody's map and using it as your own is a mortal sin , and I really don`t want to do anything like that. That is why I came here to ask for help.
My question: On the map there are 2 pictures of ponies on the wall and a picture of "finding nemo" on the door . Is there a way to change those pictures with ours and is there somebody who could help me? This map will not be redistributed as such , it is for specific server use only.
Thank you all in advance
Beautiful map... I don't know if we can add texture... ( Maybe a plugin ??? )
A Css Mapper to answer ?
I can do it for HL1 maps not for Source, sorry
I was thinking about map decals plugin but I don`t think it would cover the pictures in question. At least tell me if it`s possible to change those pictures or not? Common, I thought I will get some professional assistance around here for sure
Without a plugin, i think it's impossible, only by creating a new map
Only Milburn decompiled maps but it's not allowed without the mapper's authorization.
I understand. Thank you for reply
Send him an email and ask for permission to modify it , you never know he might let you have the rmf for it.

I will do that, than you for the info
The only way you can do it (as far as I know) is by decompiling the map, extract textures and set your own image/s with the same name that the originals have and recompile the map. But, of course, it is not morale to do it and I don't encourge mappers to do so.
OK, je le comprend, je vais l'essayer
A brit would never say "butt hurt" this is our old friend trolling yet again....
At last something interesting to read on the forum!
Who is real brit and who's fake?
I am full of curiosity.
